My magazine represents the same sort of social groups as NME and Q magazine does, a more of a indie style. My artist is wearing sophisticated clothing, I got this idea from looking at Esquire magazine as every cover model wear a suit and I liked the look of it on a cover. After deciding on the look of my artist I had to choose a genre of music, which I was going to decide on an R&B style because this how they are styled on magazine covers but then I looked into the older bands like the Beatles, The Who and The Jam. This made me decide on an indie/alternative artist because the model I used looks like he fits the indie genre rather than R&B. With this genre i aimed at a white, middle classed social group who like bands like oasis, beady eye and the libertines.
